The North Andover Festival Committee is again hosting the annual Sheep Shearing and Arts Festival. This year's one day event will be he on May 19th 2013. In addition to our shearing and herding demonstrations we will have new demonstrations and events. Pony rides, face painting, sand art and a petting zoo will bring smiles to children's faces and free off site shuttle service for attendees will help to make the event a fun, carefree experience for all. Publicity has been sent to all media outlets to promote the event.
The Arts and Crafts Fair is limited to 100 12x12 foot spaces. We present a balanced show to protect against over representation of any one craft. Craft people wishing to apply should fill out the above application and send it along with a self addressed stamped envelope and a check made out to the North Andover Festival Committee. We are inviting you to submit an application to this event. Please note that there are changes to this application.
This event is free to the public and is located in a beautiful suburban setting. The festival includes crafters from all over New England, food vendors, community organizations and demonstrations of spinning, sheep shearing and herding. This event is heavily promoted throughout the region media.
Returning Crafters: Send a complete application, check, self addressed stamped envelope.
New Crafters: Send a complete application, check, self addressed stamped envelope and a picture of your craft.
Please Note: Space preferences will be given in the order that they are received, Notification of acceptance, directions to the common and all necessary information will be sent out as soon as the applications are reviewed.
Please Note: All crafters are responsible for the trash and debris at your site. Trash MUST be disposed of in the dumpster, not left on your site or piled next to the barrels on the common.
North Andover Festival Committee is a nonprofit subcommittee of the Town comprised of citizen volunteers. The committee promotes events and activities that reflect and enhance our community.
